What a way to go - CDB to perfom at a funeral. Sort of.

A lesson in dying: "Sandwiched in between are a few choice words from Cannon himself, recitations of poetry and a recording of the Charlie Daniels Band playing 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia.'

'I love it!' Cannon said with a laugh, as he cranked up the volume to fully appreciate the tune about a young fiddler named Johnny battling -- and besting the devil for a golden fiddle. 'Atta boy, Johnny!"

This is the story of a man in Virginia diagnosed with colon cancer who's prepared his own funeral tape. He plans on having the CDB play at his funeral.

There's a good message here: Make your own funeral mix with Charlie on it now, and oh yeah, help somebody.
